What is thin client?
Thin client is a device, a large mass of computational operations which is handled by an external server (example – work with remote applications through a browser). On a remote server running all the necessary programs, so for normal functioning of the need of continuous connection with the server.
In most cases a thin client is a computer with limited functionality (there usually is no hard disk). It requires a terminal server, a role which until recently was made by a separate powerful computer.
